
Zoey strives to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can work toward a meaningful and satisfying life.
She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and is licensed at the clinical level in Kansas (LSCSW) and Missouri (LCSW). Zoey has years of experience in crisis intervention/prevention and case management, primarily supporting adults with mental health and substance use concerns.
Zoey uses a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and solutions-focused approach that considers the whole person. She is skilled in conducting bio-psycho-social assessments to understand each client’s needs and create personalized treatment plans.
Her background includes inpatient psychiatric care, community mental health, private practice therapy, home-health work focused on traumatic brain injuries and cognitive/behavioral disabilities, and experience in a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) clinic supporting individuals navigating opioid addiction and recovery.
Areas of Clinical Interest:
Zoey especially enjoys working with adults, individuals with ADHD concerns, those experiencing substance use challenges, and clients seeking support with women’s issues, including life transitions and emotional well-being.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s-level addiction counseling license to further expand her expertise.
Zoey’s passion is helping clients feel validated, empowered, and capable. She meets people exactly where they are and believes healing and change are always possible.
In her free time, Zoey enjoys reading, journaling, roller skating, and karaoke. She also loves trying new recipes and is currently enjoying life as a new mom, embracing the joys and challenges that come with it.
