Dawn Vandehey

Mental health is the lens through which we see and experience the world around us. It shapes how we see ourselves and what we feel that we deserve. Sometimes, we experience challenges because we don’t yet have the tools to successfully navigate them. For children, play therapy and humor can help make the difficult work fun while we learn and practice coping skills and strategies. I specialize in working with adolescents and children on anxiety/depression, ASD, ADHD, adjustment disorders, and trauma. Parents/guardians, I can help you navigate school support systems.

As for adults, change is part of how we evolve to live our best lives. Sometimes, it's helpful to update our self-care and adaptive responses because they no longer serve us. Other times, we’re ready to embrace a new version of ourselves that communicates better, finds greater connection, and is more aligned with the life we want. I am ready to listen and help you do the work when you are ready for change.
