Marla is a trauma-informed, mental health therapist who works with adults in Kansas via telehealth. Every stage of life has its challenges, and Marla can help you every step of the way. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches to manage emotional and physical pain. Her work is informed by neuroscience, contemplative practices like mindfulness meditation and a strengths-based perspective.
Prior to earning her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas, Marla worked in higher education administration and leadership. She is a mindfulness meditation coach and teacher who also enjoys reading, gentle yoga, gardening and volunteering in the community.
