Recognizing when you need help is a sign of courage—and for taking the next steps, I applaud you.
Many times, we try to go about business as usual, but the impact of trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, and self-image can become barriers that hinder our journey. I understand how frustrating, tiresome, and draining this can be.
Through my experience, I’ve helped clients work toward their personal goals while overcoming the grasp their symptoms held over them. By getting to know each of my clients for who they are and how they thrive, I provide a safe space and incorporate various evidence-based strategies to foster growth.
With a bias in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I encourage clients to get comfortable with the uncomfortable—grounding themselves in the present before the deeper work can begin. I also pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy to provide a well-rounded and creative perspective on their current challenges and desires.
As a lover of the arts, I believe in bringing our personalities and talents into the space so we can both excel!
What I love most about therapy is watching my clients grow. From the moment I meet someone, I’m connecting with them in a vulnerable state—yet I still see their strength and potential to heal. Working collaboratively with my clients strengthens me as a counselor and emboldens me to continue the work. I learn from my clients just as much as they learn from working with me.
Currently, I enjoy working with young adults (ages 18+) through older adults around age 50. Within this population, I work with various life stages and can see how needs evolve over time.
In addition to specializing in depression, anxiety, and self-image, I thoroughly enjoy working with clients navigating life transitions—whether that’s becoming a new parent, going back to school, transitioning in the workforce, experiencing changes in relationships, or exploring identity. I partner with clients to be a guide and helping hand as they achieve their personal goals.
I look forward to expanding my clientele to include young adolescents and couples as I continue to grow in my practice. I’m excited to work together!
