Kat Hill is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Kansas. She works with individual adults (18+) who want to move through life’s heavy places and step into deeper peace, meaning, and connection.
Her approach to therapy is integrative, holistic, and deeply collaborative. Recognizing that clients are the experts in their own lives, Kat pairs evidence-based, neuroscience-supported talk therapy with trauma-informed, gender-affirming, LGBTQ+-affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming practices.
Kat specializes in ADHD, AuDHD, Autism, and complex trauma, with extensive experience and a genuine passion for supporting clients navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Her practice centers on supporting high-achieving, high-masking adults, including those who are late-diagnosed or newly discovering their neurodivergence. She offers tailored support for navigating burnout, rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD), and unlearning rigid societal expectations, including masking.
Kat provides a compassionate, trauma-informed space where your lived experiences are respected, your strengths are celebrated, and you can show up as your authentic self. She is proud to offer a fully inclusive environment for individuals of all identities to heal and grow without the pressure to mask or conform.
Some of the modalities Kat utilizes include Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy (NAT), Client-Centered Therapy (CCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Systems Therapy (FST).
Kat understands that it’s completely natural to wonder if therapy will truly lead to change. To explore how you can work together, please request a free 15-minute introductory Zoom session.
