Dr. Megan Phillips is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with specialized expertise in comprehensive psychological evaluation, diagnostic clarification, and high-conflict clinical presentations. At Summit Therapeutic Services, Dr. Phillips primarily provides psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including evaluations related to ADHD, learning differences, mood disorders, personality functioning, and complex psychosocial dynamics.
She has a particular focus on high-conflict family systems, offering evaluations that support court-involved cases, co-parenting disputes, custody-related concerns, and clinical decision-making. Her work is grounded in producing clear, defensible, and clinically meaningful reports that assist attorneys, courts, and treatment teams in making informed decisions.
In addition to assessment services, Dr. Phillips provides select counseling services, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support clients navigating complex emotional, relational, and life transitions.
Dr. Phillips earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in 2012. She completed her internship and postdoctoral training in community mental health and college counseling settings, working extensively with transitional-aged youth and diverse clinical populations.
She is licensed to practice in California and Kansas and is authorized for interjurisdictional practice through PSYPACT, allowing for expanded telehealth services across participating states.
Dr. Phillips brings a structured, data-informed, and clinically nuanced approach to assessment, ensuring that each evaluation integrates objective testing, clinical interviewing, and contextual/systemic understanding of the individual.
Dr. Phillips’ work is rooted in evidence-based practice, integrating cognitive-behavioral and strengths-based frameworks with a strong emphasis on functional outcomes and real-world application. In assessment work, she prioritizes clarity, accuracy, and practical recommendations, particularly in complex or high-conflict situations where precision is critical.
Her counseling approach is goal-oriented and collaborative, helping clients build insight, improve functioning, and navigate challenges with increased confidence and resilience.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Phillips later relocated to California for her postdoctoral training and now serves clients across multiple states. She is a parent of three and values balancing professional excellence with family life. Outside of her clinical work, she is passionate about increasing access to high-quality mental health care and has participated in public speaking and professional training initiatives. She also hosts a podcast focused on the business and practice of psychology.
Dr. Phillips believes that clarity, authenticity, and self-awareness are central to meaningful change. Whether through assessment or therapy, her goal is to help individuals better understand themselves and move forward with intention, confidence, and practical direction.
